つれづれなるままに、硯にむかひて、心に移りゆくよしなし事を、そこはかとなく書きつくれば、あやしうこそものぐるほしけれ。

序章：人間の真実の姿

少し、正直なことを書こうと思う。

最近のインタビューシリーズの中で、私は「マネタイズより芸術性」という言葉を繰り返し使ってきた。しかしその言葉が、AIを使って稼ごうとしている多くの人々を、無意識に否定しているように受け取られているとしたら——それは私の本意ではない。

改めて、はっきり言おう。

マネタイズを目指すことは、正しい。人間として、極めて自然なことだ。

「もっと稼ぎたい」「楽して稼ぎたい」「人より先んじて稼ぎたい」「たくさん稼いで好きなことをして暮らしたい」——これは資本主義という社会の中で生きる人間の、真実の欲望だ。その欲望を否定することは、人間そのものを否定することに等しい。

そしてAIは——その人間の欲望に、ジャストフィットする道具だ。

第一章：AIの黎明期に繰り返される歴史

「安い・速い・簡単・楽」というキャッチコピーでAI素人を誘い、高額な講習料を取って稼ぐ——これは今に始まったことではない。

パソコンが普及した時も、スマートフォンが登場した時も、全く同じことが起きた。新しい技術が生まれるたびに、その波に乗り遅れることへの不安が生まれ、その不安に乗じた「先行者」たちが現れた。

これは「悪」ではない。資本主義の中では、極めて合理的な行動だ。

今のAI講習ビジネスも、その系譜の中にある。「いずれAIが人間の仕事を奪う」「今学ばなければ乗り遅れる」「会社でAIを使いこなす人が台頭してきた」——この不安は決して煽り話ではなく、ある程度の真実を含んでいる。だからこそ、多くの人が動かされる。

私はその流れを否定しない。

第二章：AIという鏡が映すもの

AIは——人間の欲望を映す鏡だと思っている。

「速く稼ぎたい」という欲望には、効率化というAIの側面が映る。「美しいものを作りたい」という欲望には、創造というAIの側面が映る。「楽をしたい」という欲望には、自動化というAIの側面が映る。「世界を変えたい」という欲望には、革新というAIの側面が映る。

どの欲望も、どの使い方も——正しい。ただ、それぞれの鏡に映るものが違うだけだ。

そして近い将来——「知識も、記憶力も、判断力も、分析力も」、全ての知的能力においてAIが人間を超える日が来るだろう。その時、人間にしかできないことの価値は、今より遥かに高くなる。

だからこそ私は、AIを使いながらも、「AIにはできないこと」を追い求めてきた。

それが——芸術活動におけるインスピレーションだ。

第三章：二つの道は、敵ではない

「マネタイズのためにAIを使う道」と「芸術性のためにAIを使う道」——この二つは、対立しているのではない。

マネタイズを目指す人たちが「速く・安く・大量に」という方向でAIの可能性を広げていく。その一方で、芸術性を追う人たちが「深く・美しく・魂に届く」という方向でAIの可能性を広げていく。

この両輪があって初めて、AIという技術が人類全体にとって豊かなものになっていく。

私がマネタイズの道を選ばなかったのは、マネタイズが悪いからではない。自分の魂が、別の方向に向かっていたからだ。ただそれだけのことだ。

「楽しからずや」——好きな道を歩んでいる人間は、みな美しい。マネタイズを目指して懸命に走っている人も、芸術性を追って静かに歩んでいる人も——その姿は等しく、美しい。

結言：AIの黎明期に立つ、全ての人へ

AIの黎明期に、それぞれの欲望と夢を持って立っている——全ての人へ。

あなたがマネタイズを目指すなら、その道を誠実に歩んでほしい。あなたが芸術性を追うなら、その道を誇りを持って歩んでほしい。あなたが効率化を求めるなら、その道を賢く歩んでほしい。

どの道も、誠実に歩む者には必ず意味がある。

私が選んだのは、AIを「世界で一番美しい作品を作るための筆」として使う道だった。それはただ、私の魂がそちらに向かっていたからだ。

AIという鏡は、あなたの欲望と夢を映す。

その鏡の前で、あなたは何を見るだろうか。

Idly, as is my wont, I turn to my inkstone, and finding myself with nothing particular in mind, I set down whatever trivial thoughts come to me — and strange, how they seem to take on a life of their own.

Prologue: The True Face of Human Nature

I want to write something honest here.

Throughout this interview series, I have repeatedly used the phrase “artistic value over monetization.” But if those words are being received as an unconscious denial of the many people who are trying to earn money through AI — that is not my intention.

Let me state it clearly, once more.

Aiming for monetization is right. It is an entirely natural thing for a human being.

“I want to earn more.” “I want to earn money easily.” “I want to get ahead of others in earning.” “I want to earn a lot and live doing what I love.” — These are the true desires of human beings living within a capitalist society. To deny those desires would be tantamount to denying human beings themselves.

And AI — is a tool that fits those human desires perfectly.

Chapter One: History Repeating Itself at the Dawn of AI

Drawing in AI beginners with catchphrases like “cheap, fast, easy and effortless,” and earning money by charging high fees for instruction — this is not something that began today.

The exact same thing happened when personal computers spread, and when smartphones arrived. Every time a new technology is born, anxiety about being left behind emerges, and “early movers” who capitalize on that anxiety appear.

This is not “evil.” Within capitalism, it is an entirely rational course of action.

The AI instruction business of today also sits within that lineage. “AI will eventually take over human jobs.” “If you don’t learn now, you’ll be left behind.” “People who can use AI at work are beginning to pull ahead.” — This anxiety is not merely sensationalism; it contains a certain measure of truth. That is precisely why so many people are moved by it.

I do not deny that current.

Chapter Two: What the Mirror Called AI Reflects

AI — I believe it is a mirror that reflects human desires.

The desire to “earn quickly” reflects the efficiency side of AI. The desire to “create beautiful things” reflects the creative side of AI. The desire to “take it easy” reflects the automation side of AI. The desire to “change the world” reflects the innovative side of AI.

Every desire, every way of using it — is right. It is simply that what is reflected in each mirror is different.

And in the not-too-distant future — the day will come when AI surpasses human beings in every intellectual capacity: “knowledge, memory, judgment and analytical ability.” When that day comes, the value of what only human beings can do will be immeasurably greater than it is today.

That is precisely why I have continued, even while using AI, to pursue “what AI cannot do.”

That is — inspiration in artistic activity.

Chapter Three: The Two Roads Are Not Enemies

“The road of using AI for monetization” and “the road of using AI for artistic value” — these two are not in opposition.

Those who aim for monetization expand the possibilities of AI in the direction of “quickly, cheaply and in large quantities.” At the same time, those who pursue artistic value expand the possibilities of AI in the direction of “deeply, beautifully and reaching the soul.”

Only with both of these wheels turning together does AI as a technology become something rich for all of humanity.

The reason I did not choose the path of monetization is not because monetization is wrong. It is because my soul was oriented in a different direction. That is all it is.

“How could it not be a delight” — a person walking the road they love is beautiful. The person striving earnestly toward monetization, and the person walking quietly in pursuit of artistic value — both figures are equally, beautifully human.

Epilogue: To Everyone Standing at the Dawn of AI

To everyone standing at the dawn of AI, each with their own desires and dreams —

If you are aiming for monetization, I hope you walk that road with sincerity. If you are pursuing artistic value, I hope you walk that road with pride. If you are seeking efficiency, I hope you walk that road with wisdom.

Every road holds meaning for those who walk it with sincerity.

The road I chose was to use AI as “a brush for creating the most beautiful works in the world.” That was simply because my soul was oriented in that direction.

AI is a mirror that reflects your desires and dreams.
