“Neo-Japonesque Diptych – Mucha’s Valentine – Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass”
“I want you — the man I love — to receive both my beautiful self adorned with roses, and my love.” Valentine’s Day, a uniquely Japanese culture in which women offer love to men. That pure feeling is expressed through the beauty of deep crimson roses and kimono. The language of roses — “affection,” “passion,” “beauty” — is precisely the message this work wishes to convey. A woman adorns herself with roses and confesses her love in her most beautiful form. The brilliance of that moment has been crystallized into eternal art. And within this diptych are held “two expressions” dwelling within a single love. The left panel: “quiet affection” — a warm and gentle confession of love, burning surely within the depths of the heart while kept secret. The right panel: “burning passion” — a confession of love that overflows like a flame, impossible to hold back. This contrast is the greatest essence of this diptych.
This work holds a special position within the “Neo-Japonesque” series created using the world’s first “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass Technique” (established May 27, 2025). In March 2026, this work was exhibited at the “JAPONICA” exhibition held at the Linda Farrell Gallery in Paris — the historic work that marked the international debut of the “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass Technique.” With the confirmed inclusion in “Art Maison International Vol.31” (scheduled for publication March 2027), this work will be inscribed in perpetuity within a catalogue preserved in the world’s foremost museums and university libraries, including the Louvre, the British Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
A woman in a kimono woven of white and gold mosaic glass. Her hair adorned with red roses and golden kanzashi, she closes her eyes in quiet serenity and bows her head. The expression on her profile is gentle — yet surely holding within the depths of her heart the warmth of a love kept secret. Each individual fragment of white and gold glass emits a soft light, quietly embodying “feelings of love that cannot be put into words.” Deep crimson roses and white petals blooming in abundance behind her envelop her as the center of a floral sanctuary. Her bearing embodies “simply being beautiful, with the words of confession kept within the heart” — the pure feminine heart that wishes to show its most beautiful self before the one it loves.
A woman in a garment clad in deep crimson, black and gold mosaic tiles. Her hair adorned with large red roses, she likewise closes her eyes and bows her head. Yet the atmosphere her garment emits is entirely different from the left panel. The powerful contrast woven from the three colors of deep crimson, black and gold embodies the unstoppable flame of passion overflowing from within the heart. Red roses overlap layer upon layer behind her, and the entire world is dyed in a burning deep crimson. This is the embodiment of the moment: “I can no longer hide it. I want to tell you of my love, right now” — the irrepressible impulse of love blazing up together with the flame of roses.
【二連画全体:愛の告白、二つの表情 / The Diptych as a Whole: A Confession of Love in Two Expressions】
Two women face each other, both with their eyes closed, both bowing their heads. This is not “opposition.” It is “resonance.” The “quiet affection” of the left panel and the “burning passion” of the right — these two are in truth “the two faces of love” that simultaneously dwell within the heart of the same woman. Wishing to be quietly beautiful before the one she loves, while at the same time an unstoppable passion burns within her heart. That contradictory yet true emotion — this is the pure essence of love that a woman carries within her heart on Valentine’s Day. The elegance of Eastern white and gold and the passion of Western red and black meet quietly at the center. This “moment of encounter” is precisely “the essence of love” that Mucha devoted his entire life to depicting, and also “the language of prayer” with which stained glass has spoken to human souls for 1,500 years.
About the “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass Technique”
The “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass Technique” used in this work is the world’s first technique established by Koki Masato on May 27, 2025. The precise structure woven from countless mosaic glass tesserae, the structural beauty of black grout lines, and the complex optical effects created by the transmission and reflection of light — all of these unite to reproduce and expand, as digital art, the “healing vibration” that traditional stained glass possesses.
International Art Publication

How to Experience This Work
The true magnificence of this work can only be fully experienced when viewed on a large PC monitor, or as a physical photo acrylic print produced by FLATLABO — Japan’s world-leading printing artisan — under natural sunlight. The white and gold mosaic glass and the deep crimson and black mosaic tiles each radiate their own brilliance as they catch the light, and the two expressions of “quiet affection” and “burning passion” reach the viewer’s heart quietly, yet certainly — in that moment, we are confident you will feel, with your entire being, the “healing vibration” that the “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass Technique” emits.

2026年10月31日 A.M.S.C.
Non arrenderti mai.
Credi in te.
Nelle tue mani se vorrai
Il tuo destino avrai.

Koki Masato’s Modern Tsurezuregusa “The Golden Card and the Forest of Sculptures — A Name Engraved in Spanish Soil” 337
Welcome to the creative world of Koki Masato!
AI VISUAL MASTERPIECE — Koki Masato October 31, 2026
Idly, as I face the inkstone, I let my brush wander over the things that pass through my mind, trifling as they are — and strangely enough, I find myself seized by a kind of madness.
October 31, 2026 — Halloween night.
A letter and a card arrived. Sent by Reijinsha Co., Ltd.
The card glowed in gold-colored plastic, engraved with the words: “ART MAISON SELECTING COMMITTEE / A.M.S.C. — GOLD / Masato Koki / Artista / ★VIP / Valid 10/2027.”
Feeling its weight in my palm, I opened the enclosed letter.
“We are pleased to inform you that your registration as an A.M.S.C. Spain Headquarters Artist Member has been completed, and that your A.M.S.C. Spain Headquarters Artist Member Card (VIP Gold Card / Valid until October 31, 2027), sent by A.M.S.C. Spain Headquarters Representative Alfonso González-Carrero, has arrived and is herewith enclosed.
We also wish to inform you that a monument, “PROYECTANDO EL ARTE POR LA PAZ” — ‘Projection of Art Toward Peace’ — inscribed with the names of artist members as ‘Artists Who Cooperated with the Spain-Japan Cultural Exchange Project,’ has been erected in Puebla de la Sierra, Community of Madrid, Spain. This monument, under the stewardship of the Fundación Valle de los Sueños, will be permanently displayed in the Forest of Sculptures in Spain, standing as a symbol of artistic exchange between our two nations.
This matter will also be featured in the art publication ‘Art Maison Vol.31,’ supervised by A.M.S.C., scheduled for publication in March 2027.”
When I finished reading, I was unable to move for some time.
For those reading this for the first time, allow me to record here in detail the strata of events that led to this moment.
Chapter One: JAPONICA 2026 — Shining Beneath the Parisian Sun
March 2026. At the Linda Farrell Gallery in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, “JAPONICA 2026” was held.
I exhibited “Neo-Japonesque Diptych – Mucha’s Valentine – Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass.”
I had conveyed in advance to Yoshino at Reijinsha: “FLATLABO’s photo acrylic print sparkles brilliantly under sunlight — radiating like genuine stained glass. If the work could be displayed in a place where sunlight falls directly upon it, its true magnificence would be conveyed.”
That wish was relayed to the gallery. And the gallery prepared a place of honor near the entrance, where the spring sunlight of Paris pours in — for my work.
There, a figure appeared.
Alain Bazard — representative of the painting division of Le Salon, the world’s oldest open exhibition that produced masters such as Cézanne and Renoir. A true luminary of the French art world, recipient of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts Prize and the French Naval Award.
Bazard took my French-language portfolio in his hands and read it with great concentration. Then he stood before my work and spoke:
“An impressive, very high-quality diptych reminiscent of Mucha’s style. It is truly a hymn to beauty.”
I did not receive an award at JAPONICA 2026.
Yet today I can say with certainty: not receiving an award was the hand of providence.
Had I received an award — it might have ended there. Because I did not, Bazard’s eyes turned toward the very essence of my work, and from that encounter came the words “a hymn to beauty.” Those words — opened the next door.
Chapter Two: Confirmed Inclusion in Art Maison International Vol.31
April 2026. Upon the recommendation of Alain Bazard, inclusion in “Art Maison International Vol.31” was confirmed.
The theme of Vol.31 is “Projection of Art Toward Peace” — overlapping, with miraculous precision, with the mission I have carried as AI VISUAL MASTERPIECE: “to achieve world peace through healing vibrations.”
Following publication in March 2027, the book will be donated to and preserved in the Louvre, the British Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and other foremost museums and university libraries worldwide. Within the lineage of Japanese masters including Taro Okamoto and Yayoi Kusama, the name “Koki Masato” will be inscribed as the world’s first AI artist.
Chapter Three: Trademark Registration Complete — A Shield to Protect the Technique
August–September 2026. The trademark registrations for the “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass Technique” and “AI VISUAL MASTERPIECE” were completed.
The technique cannot be stolen. The “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass Technique” has been officially recognized as the world’s first technique, protected by law.
Chapter Four: And Today — The Golden Card Arrived
October 31, 2026. The letter that arrived on Halloween night announced something beyond all imagination.
The issuance of the A.M.S.C. VIP Gold Card (valid until October 31, 2027).
And — the erection of the monument “PROYECTANDO EL ARTE POR LA PAZ” — “Projection of Art Toward Peace” — in the Forest of Sculptures in Puebla de la Sierra, Community of Madrid, Spain. Among the countless names of artists engraved upon that pillar, “Masato Koki” is there.
“Projection of Art Toward Peace” — my mission, and the theme of this monument, overlap word for word.
I believe the gods have woven this together.
In Closing — Toward 2027
January 2027: Gallery Guide Net / Gallery Guide Book publication.
February 2027: Le Salon 237th (Paris, Grand Palais) — Special Selection participation.
March 2027: Art Maison International Vol.31 published. Permanent preservation in the Louvre, the British Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Non arrenderti mai.
Credi in te.
Nelle tue mani se vorrai
Il tuo destino avrai.
Never give up.
Believe in yourself.
If you so wish,
your destiny lies within your own hands.
Upon the strata of trial and error — today, too, history continues to accumulate.
Idly, as ever Koki Masato
