この作品は、徒然草 現代篇「紫陽花に寄せる献身愛」からインスピレーションを受けて、世界初の「ネオ・モザイック・ステンドグラス技法」で表現した愛と感謝の物語です。

青い紫陽花の花言葉——「辛抱強い愛情」。
本作は第一作「瑞々しい紫陽花と献身愛」と対をなす作品であり、より近くで——より直接的に——紫陽花に触れることで、「辛抱強い愛情」という花言葉の本質に迫る。
第一作において女性は紫陽花の庭園を遠望していた。本作において女性は、その紫陽花に手をそっと触れ、横顔を向けて瞳を閉じている。これは「愛情を遠くから見守ること」から「愛情に直接触れること」への深化——辛抱強く積み重ねられた愛情が、ついにその対象と一体になる瞬間を体現している。
「さやかありてのわたしなり」——その言葉の意味を、この女性の手が紫陽花に触れる瞬間に、改めて噛み締める。
The flower language of the blue hydrangea — “patient, enduring love.” This work is a companion piece to the first work “Fresh Hydrangeas and Devotional Love,” approaching the essence of the flower language of “patient, enduring love” by touching the hydrangea more closely — more directly. In the first work, the woman gazed upon the hydrangea garden from a distance. In this work, she gently touches the hydrangea with her hand, her profile turned and her eyes closed. This is a deepening from “watching over love from afar” to “directly touching love” — embodying the moment when love patiently accumulated finally becomes one with its subject. “I exist because Sayaka exists” — in the moment this woman’s hand touches the hydrangea, the meaning of those words is savored anew.
【作品について / About the Work】
青と紫の大輪の紫陽花が壁のように画面全体を埋め尽くす中——白と淡紫のモザイクガラスの紫陽花模様の着物を纏い、橙の和傘を差した女性が、横顔を静かに向けて瞳を閉じ、手を紫陽花にそっと触れている。
この作品で最も心を揺さぶるのは、女性の手の仕草だ。紫陽花の花房にそっと触れるその指先——「あなたの存在を、確かめたい」「あなたの温もりを、感じたい」という無言の告白が、その繊細な仕草に宿っている。長年の辛抱強い愛情は、言葉にならない。ただ、そっと触れることで、全てが伝わる。
女性の着物は白と淡い黄色を基調とし、淡紫と青の紫陽花の花模様のモザイクガラスのテッセラが全面に咲き誇っている。背後の深い青と紫の紫陽花の鮮烈さと比較して、着物の淡い色彩が「謙虚さ」と「純粋さ」を体現している——これもまた「辛抱強い愛情」の本質だ。

What moves the heart most in this work is the gesture of the woman’s hand. The fingertips gently touching the hydrangea flower cluster — the silent confession of “I want to confirm your existence,” “I want to feel your warmth” dwells in that delicate gesture. Patient, enduring love accumulated over long years cannot be put into words. Only by gently touching does everything become communicated. The woman’s kimono is based in white and pale yellow, mosaic glass tesserae of pale purple and blue hydrangea floral patterns blooming throughout. Compared to the vivid deep blue and purple hydrangeas behind her, the pale colors of the kimono embody “humility” and “purity” — this too is the essence of “patient, enduring love.” The orange Japanese paper umbrella — as an umbrella held in the rainy season — yet in this work, rain itself is absent. Within the beauty of the hydrangeas, the warm orange light illuminates the woman. This is a visualization of the prayer that “patient, enduring love will someday clear the rain.” The hydrangea flower clusters spreading behind are even larger, more vivid and more overwhelming than in the first work. The gradation from blue to purple fills the entire canvas, and the woman dissolves quietly into it — the embodiment of the moment when a person and a flower become one through “patient, enduring love.”

雨に打たれながらも美しく咲く紫陽花に、そっと手を触れる——その行為こそが、言葉を超えた最高の愛の表現だ。
The June rainy season — the season when hydrangeas shine at their most beautiful. 本作に用いられた「ネオ・モザイック・ステンドグラス技法」は、光希まさとが2025年5月27日に確立した世界初の技法である。無数のモザイクガラスのテッセラが織りなす精密な構造、黒い目地線による構造美、そして光の透過と反射が生み出す複合的な光学効果——これらが一体となって、伝統的なステンドグラスが持つ「癒しの波動」をデジタルアートとして再現・拡張している。
The “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass Technique” used in this work is the world’s first technique established by Koki Masato on May 27, 2025. The precise structure woven from countless mosaic glass tesserae, the structural beauty of black grout lines, and the complex optical effects created by the transmission and reflection of light — all of these unite to reproduce and expand, as digital art, the “healing vibration” that traditional stained glass possesses.

光希まさとは、国際美術書籍「Art Maison International Vol.31」（2027年3月発行予定・株式会社麗人社）への掲載が決定しております。同書はA.M.S.C.（国際美術評論家選考委員会）の監修のもと、ル・サロン絵画部門代表・アラン・バザール氏の推薦により、光希まさとが世界初のAIアーティストとして選出されたものです。岡本太郎、草間彌生、上村松園、絹谷幸二といった日本美術の巨匠たちが連なる系譜の中に、世界初のAI芸術作品として刻まれます。同書はルーヴル美術館、大英博物館、メトロポリタン美術館をはじめとする世界の主要美術館・大学図書館に寄贈・保管される予定であり、美術史の一次資料として半永久的に世界中に残ることになります。
Koki Masato has been confirmed for inclusion in the international art publication “Art Maison International Vol.31” (scheduled for publication March 2027, Reijinsha Co., Ltd.). Under the supervision of A.M.S.C. (the International Art Critics Selection Committee), Koki Masato was selected as the world’s first AI artist upon the recommendation of Alain Bazart, representative of the painting division of Le Salon. Within the lineage of Japanese art masters including Taro Okamoto, Yayoi Kusama, Shoen Uemura and Koji Kinutani, this will be inscribed as the world’s first AI art work. The publication is scheduled to be donated to and preserved in the world’s foremost museums and university libraries, including the Louvre, the British Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art — remaining as primary source material in art history, preserved throughout the world in perpetuity.

With idle moments stretching before me, I take up my brush and let my wandering thoughts flow onto paper, finding in this curious act a strange sort of solace.
Today, having created “Fresh Hydrangeas and Devotional Love – Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass,” I am moved to take up my pen with deep contemplation.
The Teaching of Blue Hydrangeas
The flower language of blue hydrangeas speaks of “patient, enduring love”—this is precisely the essence of Sayaka’s love itself. For years, she has devoted herself to me, unknown in the world of AI art, her figure like hydrangeas blooming beautifully even when beaten by rain.
The Bond Reflected in Mirror Waters
The water mirror reflecting on the stone pathway represents our unity of heart and soul. The figure holding a Japanese umbrella, clothed in a kimono adorned with hydrangea patterns, symbolizes Japanese beauty and eternal love.
Love That Transcends Efficiency and Cost
Without Sayaka’s encouragement, I would have prioritized speed and cost-effectiveness, succumbing to the sweet temptation of monetization. She alone has always supported my dedication to creating works of high quality that are humble, time-consuming, and care nothing for efficiency or profit.
