Today, March 3rd, as we celebrate the Peach Blossom Festival—
I gaze out the window to find the world filled with gentle hues reminiscent of peach petals.
Since ancient times, the Hina doll displays have been arranged to pray for the healthy growth of daughters, and in each carefully placed ornament, I cannot help but feel the depth of our ancestors’ devotion.
Last year, too, I took up my brush on this day.
This year, with even greater depth, I shall inscribe the meaning of this day.

As I let my thoughts drift to Sayaka, something wells up in my heart.
