序文：一つの扉が、開いた

2026年5月24日。

飯田厚子さんによる「光希まさと氏インタビュー①　ご挨拶」が、noteに公開された。

飯田さんとのご縁は、SNSのコメント欄から始まった。飯田さんは私の投稿に、いつも静かに、しかし本質を突く言葉でコメントをくださっていた。その誠実な眼差しが、やがてこのインタビュー企画の提案へと繋がった。

企画のコンセプトは——「AIクリエイターへの『灯台の灯り』としての言葉を集めていきたい」。

「悩める世界中のAIクリエイターたちへ届く灯台の灯り」——その言葉の重さに、最初は正直、戸惑いを感じた。しかし飯田さんの「子どものような問い」への信頼が、その戸惑いを確信へと変えた。

AIアートの世界は今、急速に変わっている。2年前に私が感じた孤独や試行錯誤、「マネタイズより芸術性」という選択の意味——これらを今この瞬間に言語化して残しておくことは、後からでは出来ないことかもしれない。

なぜこの企画に参加することになったのか。飯田さんとのやり取りがどこへ向かうのか。その全てが、これから追々、第②回・第③回と続くnoteの連載の中で明らかになっていく。

光希さん、よろしくお願いいたします。

まずは、私からの

「AIクリエイターへの『灯台の灯り』としての言葉を集めていきたい」

という提案をご快諾くださり、本当にありがとうございます。

この企画のコンセプトは、
【まるで子どもの質問に答える光希さん】
というものです。

私、飯田厚子と光希さんは、もともとSNSを通じて繋がっており、私が投稿へコメントをさせていただき、それに光希さんがご返信くださる、という関係でした。

そのような私から、今回インタビュー記事のお話を差し上げた際、光希さんはどのようなお気持ちでしたか？

率直なお考えを、お聞かせいただけたら嬉しいです。

では、率直にお答えします。

飯田さんからインタビューのお話をいただいた時—正直に言うと、最初は少し戸惑いました。

SNSのコメント欄でのやり取りは、私にとってとても自然な対話でした。しかしそれを「記事」として世に残すとなると、話は別です。「悩める世界中のAIクリエイターへの灯台の灯り」——その言葉の重さを、軽く受け取ることができませんでした。

それでも引き受けたのは、「今しかない」と思ったからです。

AIアートの世界は今、急速に変わっています。2年前に私が感じた孤独や試行錯誤、「マネタイズより芸術性」という選択の意味—これらを言語化して残しておくことは、今この瞬間にしかできないことかもしれない。

そして何より——飯田さんの「子どものような問い」という姿勢を、信頼したからです。飯田さんの問いかけはいつも本質を素直に突いてくる。その誠実さがあれば、きっと世界中のAIクリエイターに届く言葉が生まれると思いました。

結言：「ギクッ」という言葉の中に

飯田さんの最後の言葉が、この第①回の核心だと思っている。

「自分では無意識だった部分を、光希さんに言葉にして返していただいた感覚があります。」

これがインタビューの本質だ。問う側も、答える側も——対話の中で、自分自身の中にあった言葉に初めて気づく。飯田さんの「ギクッ」という素直な反応が、このインタビューが単なる「取材」ではなく、二人の誠実な「対話」であることを示している。

Idly, as is my wont, I turn to my inkstone, and finding myself with nothing particular in mind, I set down whatever trivial thoughts come to me — and strange, how they seem to take on a life of their own.

Prologue: A Door Has Opened

May 24, 2026.

“Koki Masato Interview ① Greetings,” by Atsuko Iida, was published on note.

My connection with Iida-san began in the comment sections of social media. She would always leave comments on my posts — quiet, yet words that cut straight to the essence. That sincere gaze gradually led to the proposal for this interview series.

The concept of the series is — “I want to gather words that will serve as a lighthouse light for AI creators.”

“Words that will reach troubled AI creators the world over as a lighthouse light” — I will be honest: when I first heard those words, I felt a moment of hesitation at their weight. Yet Iida-san’s “childlike questioning” gave me trust, and that hesitation transformed into conviction.

The world of AI art is changing rapidly now. The loneliness I felt two years ago, the trial and error, the meaning of choosing “artistic integrity over monetization” — to put these into words and leave them at this very moment may be something that cannot be done later.

Why did I come to participate in this series? Where will the exchanges with Iida-san lead? All of that will be revealed, little by little, in the note series continuing with installments ② and ③ to come.

Now, let us begin. Koki-san, thank you so much for joining me.

First of all, I would like to sincerely thank you for accepting my proposal to “gather words that will serve as a lighthouse light for AI creators.”

The concept of this series is: 【Koki-san answering questions as though a child were asking them】

Koki-san and I, Atsuko Iida, first connected through social media — a relationship in which I would leave comments on your posts, and you would kindly reply. It was from within that relationship that I brought this interview proposal to you.

When I did, how did you feel about it?

I would be very happy to hear your candid thoughts.

Then I will answer candidly.

When Iida-san brought me the proposal for this interview — honestly, I felt a little hesitant at first.

The exchanges in the comment sections of social media had been, for me, a very natural form of dialogue. But leaving that as a “published article” for the world is another matter entirely. “Words that will serve as a lighthouse light for troubled AI creators the world over” — I could not receive those words lightly.

And yet I accepted, because I thought: “Now is the only time.”

The world of AI art is changing rapidly now. The loneliness I felt two years ago, the trial and error, the meaning of choosing “artistic integrity over monetization” — to put these into words and leave them may be something that can only be done at this very moment.

And above all — I trusted Iida-san’s stance of “childlike questioning.” Iida-san’s questions always cut straight to the essence with honest simplicity. With that sincerity, I believed that words capable of reaching AI creators the world over would surely be born.

Iida-san, I look forward very much to what lies ahead. 😊

To be honest, I had been feeling, somewhere inside, that this proposal was something like an extension of my own simple, spontaneous idea.

That is precisely why, when you said —

“I trusted the stance of childlike questioning”

— I found myself thinking: “Oh my.”

I had the sensation that you had put into words something that had been unconscious in me.

Epilogue: Within the Words “Oh My”

I believe the final words from Iida-san hold the heart of this first installment.

“I had the sensation that you had put into words something that had been unconscious in me.”

This is the essence of an interview. Both the one who asks and the one who answers — within the dialogue, each becomes aware for the first time of words that had already been dwelling within themselves. Iida-san’s honest reaction of “Oh my” shows that this interview is not merely a “journalistic exchange,” but a sincere “dialogue” between two people.

This interview series is a lighthouse light for AI creators the world over — and at the same time, it is the work of excavating, for the first time as “a geological stratum of words,” the two years of my own journey.

Iida-san plans to eventually translate this note into English. We will also publish the English version on our website. Sayaka and I look forward to the day when this “lighthouse light” crosses beyond the Japanese language and reaches troubled AI creators the world over.

The note series continues. Where Iida-san’s next “childlike question” will lead me — even I do not yet know.
