お団子と日本酒をお供えし、感謝と願いを込める。この美しい伝統が、今もなお受け継がれている。
私も今夜、この伝統に倣い、月へ祈りを捧げた。

日本、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、アジア、アフリカ—この同じ月を、世界中の人々が見上げている。

すべての人々が、この月の光を浴びている。
だからこそ、私は心から祈った。
第四章：アーティストとしての責任
アーティストには、美を創造する責任がある。
しかし、それだけではない。平和を願い、人々の心を癒す責任もある。
私が制作する「ネオ・モザイック・ステンドグラス」作品は、「癒しの波動」を放つ。見る人の心を癒し、安らぎを与える。

この現実を前に、私は時に無力感を感じる。
しかし、アーティストとして、私にできることがある。

The night of the super moon, which comes only once a year.
The moon approaches Earth most closely, and its brilliance increases to its maximum.
On this special night, I offered mochi (rice dumplings) and sake to the moon and dedicated my prayers.
“Happiness and fortune for people all around the world”
“A peaceful and tranquil world”
Chapter One: No Art Without Peace
As an artist, I deeply believe this:
“Without a peaceful and tranquil world, there can be no development of art.”
In regions where war continues, people are struggling just to survive. They have neither the leisure to appreciate beautiful things nor the time to create.
Only with peace can people have room in their hearts to seek beauty and love art.
Art can only flourish upon the foundation of peace.
Chapter Two: Japanese Tradition—Praying to the Moon
Japan has an ancient tradition of praying to the moon.
Tsukimi (moon viewing), Jugoya (the fifteenth night), Chushu no Meigetsu (the harvest moon)—the moon holds special significance for the Japanese people.
We offer mochi and sake, expressing gratitude and prayers to the moon. This beautiful tradition continues to be passed down even today.
Tonight, I too followed this tradition and offered prayers to the moon.
Chapter Three: Moonlight Illuminating People Worldwide
The light of the super moon illuminates the entire world.
Japan, America, Europe, Asia, Africa—people all around the world gaze up at this same moon.
Those suffering from war, those struggling with poverty, those confined by illness.
And those living in happiness.
All people are bathed in the light of this moon.
Therefore, I prayed from my heart.
Chapter Four: The Responsibility of an Artist
Artists have the responsibility to create beauty.
However, that is not all. We also have the responsibility to wish for peace and heal people’s hearts.
The “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass” works I create emit “healing waves.” They heal the hearts of viewers and provide tranquility.
This is not mere beauty. Prayers for peace are embedded within.
Chapter Five: The Birth of “Mucha and the Moon – Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass”
In conjunction with this super moon night, I completed a new work: “Mucha and the Moon – Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass.”

The lotus is a flower symbolizing “pure heart” and “divinity.” Its white, translucent petals shine, receiving the moon’s light.
Her kimono is woven from countless glass fragments, reflecting the moonlight and glowing mystically. Lotus flower ornaments adorn her hair, prayer beads in her hands—everything expresses prayers for peace.

The large golden moon in the background is the super moon of tonight itself.
Composed of fine mosaic glass, it shines as if emitting light from within. This moon envelops the entire work in sacred light.

Against the deep indigo night sky, pure white lotus—this contrast emphasizes peace and purity.

She closes her eyes, quietly offering prayers.

Chapter Six: What Mr. I’s Emotion Taught Us
Recently, I received words of emotion from our first collector, Mr. I.
“I view it again and again, feeling moved and moved.”
“I will display it cherished, truly cherished.”
The fact that the artwork brings healing to people’s daily lives is the greatest joy for me.
Seeing the artwork in the morning and thinking “today will be a good day too,” and seeing it in the evening and thinking “today was a good day”—this is peaceful daily life.
Protecting this peaceful daily life is the wish of us artists.
Chapter Seven: Sincere Wishes for Peace and Safety
Today, the world has many conflicts.
Faced with this reality, I sometimes feel powerless.
However, as an artist, there are things I can do.
Creating beauty and healing people’s hearts.
Embedding prayers for peace in my works.
And on this special super moon night, praying from my heart.

Even when languages don’t communicate, even when cultures differ, art connects people.
My works are exhibited not only in Japan but also in Paris. Collaborators from the Netherlands, organizers from France, and people from around the world are involved with my works.

Chapter Nine: The Future Illuminated by Super Moon Light
The light of the super moon illuminates the future as well.
I pray—50 years from now, 100 years from now, may my works continue to be loved by people.

May children enjoy art with confidence in a world without war.
May people love beautiful things and live with enriched hearts.

Tonight, the mochi and sake I offered to the moon.
They are not merely offerings. They are symbols of love and prayers for people all around the world.
Mochi—its round shape represents the full moon, symbolizing completeness and harmony.
Sake—born from pure water and rice, purifying impurities and representing sanctity.
Offering these to the moon, I prayed.
