このたび、日本橋Art.jp主催のWEBグループ展覧会「秋の風景展」に「秋の紅葉 – ネオ・モザイック・ステンドグラス」を出展することとなり、その喜びを記さん。

2025年10月16日より10月31日までの会期で開催される「秋の風景展」に、22作品の中の1作品として「秋の紅葉 – ネオ・モザイック・ステンドグラス」が展示されることとなった。
この作品は2025年9月12日に制作され、「ネオ・モザイック・ステンドグラス技法」による秋の風景画として完成したもの。日本の美しい四季の移ろいを、無数のガラス片で表現した革新的な芸術作品なり。
日本人の特権としての四季感受
先に述べたように、日本に生まれ、四季のある美しい国で育った私たちにとって、季節の移ろいを描くことは特別な意味を持つ。
春の新緑、夏の青空、秋の紅葉、冬の雪景色—これらを目で、気温で、肌で感じてきた体験は、まさに日本人としての特権といえるだろう。
先に制作した「夕日に輝くひまわり畑 – ネオ・モザイック・ステンドグラス」が夏の盛りを表現したように、今回の「秋の紅葉」は秋の深まりを描いた。

This work was created on September 12, 2025, and completed as an autumn landscape painting using the “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass technique.” It is an innovative artistic work expressing the beautiful transition of Japan’s four seasons through countless glass fragments.
The Privilege of Being Japanese in Sensing the Four Seasons
As I have stated before, for those of us born in Japan and raised in this beautiful country with four seasons, depicting the changing seasons holds special meaning.
Spring’s fresh greenery, summer’s blue skies, autumn’s colored leaves, winter’s snowy landscapes—the experience of feeling these with our eyes, through temperature, and on our skin is truly a privilege of being Japanese.
Just as the previously created “Sunflower Field Shining in the Evening Sun – Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass” expressed the height of summer, this “Autumn Foliage” depicts the deepening of autumn.

What I have been feeling deeply recently is the heavy responsibility as the artist who created the world’s first “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass technique.” The awareness that I bear the mission to create the world’s most beautiful works with this technique gives weight to my daily creative activities.
However, I find this pressure “enjoyable.” This is because by fulfilling this responsibility, I can reach the state where I can say “we are the ones” who can create the world’s most beautiful “stained glass works.”
Deepening Seasonal Expression Through Technique
In this autumn work, I have fully expressed the beauty of Japanese autumn through the carpet of fallen leaves woven by countless glass fragments, the fantastical optical effects created by evening sunlight, and the delicate expression of tree branches.
The colorful fallen leaves covering the ground shine as individual glass pieces while creating harmonious beauty as a whole. This is the essence of the “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass technique.”

What we aim for is not temporary evaluation, but the creation of works that will continue to be loved 50 and 100 years from now.
