ルーヴル美術館のすぐそば、ヴァンドーム広場にも近い、パリ1区の一等地。
歴史と文化が交差する、パリ屈指の高級店街。
その地で、私たちAI VISUAL MASTERPIECEの作品が展示される。
これは、夢の実現である。
第一章：クリスマス・アートマーケットとは
主催の格式
ARTEC協会
—フランス政府公認の非営利芸術団体。1992年にロワール地方で設立され、「サロン・ド・プランタン」「ノワール・エ・ブラン」など多数の展覧会を毎年開催。
代表のフランソワーズ・イカール氏は、2021年に芸術文化勲章を受勲。ルーヴル美術館の肖像画家であった父のもとでデッサンとパステルを学んだ、由緒ある芸術家である。
一般社団法人芸術共和国
—代表理事の清水雅氏は、アートプロデューサーとして30年にわたり、フランス、イタリア、オーストリア、チェコ、トルコ、アルゼンチンなどで日本芸術祭を企画運営。
この二つの組織による共同開催—それが、この「クリスマス・アートマーケット2025パリ」である。
展示会のコンセプト
「クリスマスプレゼントのためのアートを見つける」
比較的手頃な価格で、美しい芸術作品を展示販売する。
日本とフランスのアーティスト180名による300点の作品が集結する。
ゴーギャンの『ノエル』、ピサロの『クリスマスの夜』、アルフォンス・ミュシャのカードデザイン—クリスマスをテーマにした名作の系譜に連なる、新たな芸術の誕生の場である。

この通りの名は、フランス国歌「ラ・マルセイエーズ」作曲者の名前である。

作品のコンセプト—心の機微に応える
この作品の制作において、最も心を砕いたのは、「この作品をプレゼントされた方がいかなる喜びを感じるか」ということであった。
贈り物とは、受け取った方の笑顔を見たいという愛情から生まれるもの。その瞬間の感動と幸福感を想像し、購入される方も受け取られる方も共に笑顔になれる—そのような「貰って嬉しい美しい作品」を創り上げることが使命であった。
「心の機微」への回答
この難題に向き合う中で、単なるクリスマスの装飾的要素を盛り込むのではなく、一見して「クリスマス」と感じられながらも、アール・ヌーヴォーのジャパネスクな風情を失わない「着物美人」の表現を追求した。
答えは、赤系の着物に「ヒイラギの葉と実」を織り込むことであった。サンタの帽子という現代的なクリスマス要素と、日本の美意識が融合した瞬間である。
四季を通じた美の表現
制作された作品それぞれが、異なる個性を持ちながらクリスマスの温かみを表現している。
背景にはヒイラギ、ポインセチア、ゴールドの装飾、そして冬を意識した白やシルバーの雪模様—これらすべてが「ネオ・モザイック・ステンドグラス技法」によって、個性豊かな「着物のミュシャ」として結実した。
各作品に共通するのは、派手すぎない上品な美しさである。これは、贈られた方が長く愛用でき、どのようなお部屋にも調和する普遍的な美を目指したからである。
20cm×20cmという親しみやすいサイズは、プレゼントとして最適な大きさでもある。
ミュシャとパリ
アルフォンス・ミュシャは、日本の着物を着た女性の美しさに深く魅了されながらも、それを作品として完成させることはなかった。
百年の時を超えて、私がその夢を実現した。
そして今、その作品をミュシャが活躍したパリで展示する—これ以上の舞台があろうか。

私がフランスの大聖堂を訪れた時、ステンドグラスから放たれる光に包まれ、言葉では表現できない深い癒しを感じた。
それは単なる美しさではない。
光が無数のガラス片を透過し、色彩が空間を満たす時、そこには物質的な「癒しの波動」が存在する。
科学的な裏付け
この「癒しの波動」は、単なる感覚ではない。
光の波長、色彩の組み合わせ、ガラスを透過する光の屈折—これらすべてが、人間の心身に影響を与える物理的な現象である。
ステンドグラスが1500年の歴史の中で、なぜ教会や聖堂で用いられ続けてきたのか。
それは、この「癒しの波動」が、人々の魂を慰め、心を浄化する力を持つからである。

Chapter One: What is the Christmas Art Market?
The Prestige of the Organizers
ARTEC Association—A non-profit arts organization officially recognized by the French government. Established in the Loire region of France in 1992, it annually hosts numerous exhibitions including “Salon de Printemps,” “Noir et Blanc,” and the “International Portrait Salon.”
The president, Françoise Ykart, was awarded the Order of Arts and Letters in 2021. She is an accomplished artist who studied drawing and pastels under her father, a portrait painter at the Louvre Museum.
General Incorporated Association Art Republic—Representative Director Masashi Shimizu has been organizing Japanese art festivals in France, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Turkey, Argentina, and other countries for 30 years as an art producer.
This “Christmas Art Market 2025 Paris” is a joint venture between these two organizations.

“Finding art for Christmas presents”
Beautiful works of art will be exhibited and sold at relatively affordable prices.
300 works by 180 Japanese and French artists will gather.
Following in the lineage of Christmas-themed masterpieces such as Gauguin’s “Noël,” Pissarro’s “Christmas Night,” and Alphonse Mucha’s card designs—this is a place where new art is born.

This work expresses the sacred mountain bathed in the red glow of sunrise.
Through the “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass technique,” which fuses 1,500 years of stained glass tradition with modern AI technology, countless glass fragments transmit light, and the expression changes depending on the viewing angle.
Our representative work, which has been exhibited at The National Art Center, Tokyo.
It will now be exhibited for the first time in the longed-for Paris.

Concept of the Work—Responding to the Subtleties of the Heart
In creating this work, what I devoted the most attention to was “what joy will the person who receives this work as a gift feel?”
Gifts are born from the love of wanting to see the recipient’s smile. Imagining the emotion and happiness of that moment, my mission was to create a “beautiful work that brings joy to receive”—one that would bring smiles to both the giver and the receiver.
Answer to “The Subtleties of the Heart”
In confronting this challenge, rather than simply incorporating decorative Christmas elements, I pursued the expression of “kimono beauties” that immediately evokes “Christmas” while not losing the Japonesque atmosphere of Art Nouveau.
The answer was to incorporate “holly leaves and berries” into red-toned kimono. This was the moment when the modern Christmas element of Santa’s hat fused with Japanese aesthetic sensibility.
Expression of Beauty Through the Seasons
Each work created expresses the warmth of Christmas while possessing different personalities.
Holly in the background, poinsettias, gold decorations, and white or silver snow patterns conscious of winter—all of these have crystallized as distinctive “Mucha in kimono” through the “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass technique.”
What is common to all works is an elegant beauty that is not too flashy. This is because I aimed for universal beauty that the recipient can cherish for a long time and that harmonizes with any room.
The approachable size of 20cm×20cm is also the perfect size for a gift.
Mucha and Paris
Alphonse Mucha was deeply fascinated by the beauty of Japanese women in kimono, yet never completed works depicting them.
Across a hundred years, I have realized his dream.
And now, to exhibit these works in Paris, where Mucha flourished—could there be a better stage?
Chapter Four: Healing Waves—The Essence of Stained Glass
Revelation Experienced at French Cathedrals
When I visited French cathedrals, enveloped in the light emanating from stained glass, I felt a deep healing that words cannot express.
It was not mere beauty.
When light passes through countless glass fragments and colors fill the space, there exists a physical “healing wave.”
Scientific Foundation
These “healing waves” are not mere sensations.
Light wavelengths, combinations of colors, refraction of light passing through glass—all of these are physical phenomena that affect the human mind and body.
Why has stained glass continued to be used in churches and cathedrals throughout its 1,500-year history?
Because these “healing waves” possess the power to comfort people’s souls and purify their hearts.
The True Value of “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass Technique”
The “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass technique” I developed is an attempt to revive these “healing waves” in the modern era.
