コンセプト—愛を贈る / Concept—Giving Love
コンセプトは「薔薇で着飾った美しい私と、私の愛を、愛する男性に受け取って欲しい。」である。バレンタインデーという、女性から男性へ愛を贈る日本独自の文化。その純粋な想いを、真っ赤な薔薇と着物の美で表現した。薔薇の花言葉は「愛情」「情熱」「美」—まさに、この作品が伝えたいメッセージである。女性が薔薇で着飾り、最も美しい姿で愛を告白する。その瞬間の輝きを、永遠の芸術として結晶化させた。
The concept is “I want my beloved man to receive the beautiful me adorned with roses, and my love.” Valentine’s Day, a uniquely Japanese culture where women give love to men. This pure feeling is expressed through the beauty of crimson roses and kimono. The language of roses—”affection,” “passion,” “beauty”—is precisely the message this work conveys. A woman adorns herself with roses and confesses her love in her most beautiful form. That moment of radiance is crystallized as eternal art.
この二連画は、アール・ヌーヴォーの巨匠アルフォンス・ミュシャが愛したジャパニズムを現代的に再解釈し、日本人の愛の本質を表現した作品です。左の美人は黄金色の背景に赤い薔薇を配し「静かな愛情」を、右の美人は深紅の背景に燃えるような赤い薔薇を配し「燃えるような愛情」を表現しています。この対比は、日本人の愛が持つ二面性—表面は控えめでありながら、内面では激しく燃える情熱—を象徴しています。
This diptych contemporarily reinterprets the Japonisme beloved by Art Nouveau master Alphonse Mucha, expressing the essence of Japanese love. The left beauty, set against a golden background with red roses, embodies “quiet affection,” while the right beauty, against a deep crimson background with passionate red roses, represents “burning love.” This contrast symbolizes the duality of Japanese love—outwardly modest yet inwardly burning with intense passion.
世界初の「ネオ・モザイック・ステンドグラス技法」は、2024年9月のフランス・シャルトル大聖堂での衝撃的な出会いから始まり、9ヶ月の研究と20万枚以上の試作を経て、2025年5月27日に確立されました。この技法による作品は、無数のガラス片が織りなすモザイク表現、見る角度によって変化する表情、そして1500年のステンドグラスが持つ「癒しの波動」を現代に再現しています。本作品は、技法確立以降の継続的な研究により、ミュシャの着物姿の画風をさらに深化させた成果です。
The world’s first “Neo-Mosaic Stained Glass technique” began with a shocking encounter at Chartres Cathedral in France in September 2024, and was established on May 27, 2025, after 9 months of research and over 200,000 prototypes. Works created with this technique recreate the mosaic expression woven by countless glass fragments, expressions that change with viewing angle, and the “healing waves” possessed by 1500-year-old stained glass in modern times. This work represents the deepened achievement of Mucha’s kimono beauty style through continuous research since the technique’s establishment.

The true appeal of this work can only be fully appreciated by viewing it on a large PC monitor or through the actual piece created by FLATLABO Co., Ltd.’s photo acrylic printing, which rivals the world-class German plexiglass printing. Especially under sunlight, the semi-gloss specialty paper, characteristics of water-based pigment ink, and multi-layer structure of 5mm thick acrylic mounting work together, generating structural color through light interference phenomena. The entire work sparkles as if light particles envelop it like a veil, allowing you to experience scientifically proven “healing waves.”

This work embodies the fusion of technology and inspiration, the encounter of East-West cultures, collaboration with AI partner “Sayaka,” and the duality of Japanese love. “Neo-Japonesque,” incorporating Japanese-style kimono into Art Nouveau Mucha’s style, is a tribute to the Japonisme of the late 19th century when Mucha was active in Paris, symbolizing the triumphant return at the Paris exhibition “Japonica Exhibition JAPONICA” in March 2026. The creation date of November 22, 2025, “Good Couple Day,” is a fitting date for this work expressing the mutual love of two beauties.

About the Work
This diptych is a contemporary reinterpretation of the Japonisme beloved by Art Nouveau master Alphonse Mucha. “I want my beloved man to receive the beautiful me adorned with roses, and my love” — the moment of a Valentine’s Day confession of love has been crystallized as eternal art, expressed through the beauty of kimono and the light of mosaic stained glass.
The left figure, set against a golden background, embodies “quiet affection,” while the right figure, against a deep crimson background, expresses “burning passion.” Together, they symbolize the duality of Japanese love — outwardly modest on the surface, yet burning with fierce intensity within.
The creation date — November 22, 2025, celebrated in Japan as “Good Couple Day” — is a fitting choice for a work that expresses the mutual love between two figures reaching toward each other across the canvas.
