一万キロメートルの壮大な旅路
この作品の旅は、まさに現代の奇跡といえるでしょう。ドイツの印刷工場で世界最高峰の技術により誕生し、オランダの菅和義様のもとへ。そして菅様の深いご配慮により、一万キロメートル以上の長旅を経て、ついに私の手元へ辿り着きました。
菅様がドイツの印刷工場に発注をかけてくださり、印刷完了から菅様のお手元へ、そして遥かなる太平洋を越えて日本まで—この間の細やかなお心遣いと、作品への愛情深い取り扱いに、感謝の言葉も見つかりません。
日本初上陸の歴史的瞬間
「ネオ・モザイック・ステンドグラス技法」で描いた作品が日本に到着するのは、これが最初です。まさに日本初上陸の歴史的瞬間に立ち会うことができました。
